What we do

Sxaler combines Forward Deployed Recruiters with proprietary technology to deliver top-percentile talent. We embed ourselves with clients - we call them missions - when hiring is p0. When the job is done, we ramp down and handoff.

Our stack makes us fast and precise, and our people bring a palate for human judgement and artful orchestration that cannot be fast-tracked.

Our mandate is maximum impact on hiring against unreasonable standards and expectations.

Why we exist

We are ex-operators who have scaled unicorns from 0‑1. During that period, we were on the receiving end of all forms of talent services. We’ve built the company we wish existed during that time.

The nature of economics often dictates that large recruitment teams are built during periods of growth, only to shrink again when the job is done. It’s estimated that technology companies spend £500m+ per annum on Recruiter layoffs alone. We spike during periods of growth and roll off predictably, massively reducing collateral.

Why it works

Muscle memory and battle scars gained from positions of accountability, during formative moments at the front line. We’ve built teams from the ground up that people still talk about, from the inside and against extreme competition.

We have practiced onboarding in nascent environments where very little exists to support our success. We have built some of the highest-performing talent teams (and workforces) on earth, where intervention and course correction are necessary - an absent quality amongst alternative vendors.

Our collective breadth and depth of experience, combined with our candidate ecosystem, is a force multiplier.

Who we work with

AI-native/pilled companies in emerging or deep tech, as well as industries who are fighting for top 1% talent and the ability/desire to operate at the appropriate speed to compete.

It is a misconception that our model is only suitable when hiring hundreds/thousands. On the contrary, our deployed model thrives when building lean, AI-native teams. Our typical assignments can be summarized as either:

  1. First/early-boots on the ground following significant funding to make key hires, often helping to introduce modern hiring infrastructure
  2. Additional boots on the ground to power-up teams during periods of scale

Our clients are typically based in London, San Francisco, New York, Paris, Stockholm or fully-remote.
